You call at every station between. The doors close at the booked time; then apply power. Score: stopping on the mark, keeping time, staying under the limits, and a smooth ride.
Build puzzles
Redraw a line
Drag the waypoints and stations in the editor; the railway rebuilds as you go. Stars for how far you beat the line as designed, within the limits.
Run the network
Trains and fares
How often trains run on each line, and the fare per km. More trains carry more people and wait times fall, but cost more to run; higher fares bring in more from each rider but send some back to the road (or, for business travellers, the plane). A deliberately simple model on rough city populations, at ₦1,500 to the dollar.
Drag the points to reshape the line; stations snap onto it. Double-click the map, or use Add point, to add a bend. Right-drag to move the map.
Engineering, timetable and cost are recomputed for every change. Detailed terrain and buildings cover the original corridor only.

The lines
Concept lines, not an official plan. Journey times use the all-stops maglev, with 10 minutes to change trains. Costs are 2025 US dollars, benchmarked on Chinese and Japanese lines. Map: Natural Earth.
Make a film
A 36-second flyover of the line you're riding: departure, the tallest viaduct, its main river crossing, the cab at full speed, the longest tunnel and arrival, with captions. It uses the current light, technology and line.
